Emmanuel Neal serves as a Partner with YORR Consulting Group Incorporated; with a specialized focus on training, event-planning and individual/business coaching. As an entrepreneur, he has consulted numerous nonprofit organizations, industry-based corporations, and social service agencies with strategic development, event planning, grant writing and various leadership trainings. Emmanuel strives to be a consummate professional with keen listening skills that help transform organizations. From providing consultation on sustainability, communications and start-up services to developing fund development strategies, Emmanuel can coach you towards attaining your goals and garnering grant awards to help you fulfill your mission.

Neal has been in the development, event planning, and nonprofit management industry for over 10 years. He has worked with numerous social service agencies in the areas of strategic planning, program and curriculum development, and event planning. He is a Certified Business & Life Coach.

Following is a description for each module covered within the program:
 

Module 1: Being an entrepreneur

Students will develop an understanding of entrepreneurship, why businesses succeed, and the importance of a business plan.

Module 2: Mind your "own" business

Students will explore areas of entrepreneurship and assess their personal, business, and lifestyle skills.

Module 3: Be a legal eagle

Students will understand government regulations, taxes, legal structures of business, managing risk, intellectual property rights, and contracts.

Module 4: E-commerce

Students will learn the history of the internet, along with its issues. They will learn about buying and selling online, security, marketing, and social media.

Module 5: Researching your idea

Marketing is introduced along with market research including sources of market data, trend spotting, and personal marketing.

Module 6: Big time marketing

Students will learn key concepts, terms, and "how-to's" of marketing and selling.

Module 7: Building your business

Students will learn how to build their business by structuring sound business deals, and explore the art of negotiation.

Module 8: Accounting: the language of business

Students will understand accounting systems as they learn to "speak accounting," explore basic concepts, and learn about basic financial statements.

Module 9: Managing your cash

Students will learn about basic financial statements.

Module 10:  Show me the money

Students will learn how to evaluate financing options and determine which is best for your business.

Module 11: Ready, set, charge

Students will decide if their business is feasible and take the next steps.
